Fun on the driveway!

Halfway through April, Jonathan had to go to Dallas for a conference. Mams came out to help me with the boys. While she was here I took advantage of having another set of hands at home with me and decided to try liquid side walk chalk with the boys. I had seen this idea on Pinterest (where else?!) and was dying to try it with Luke. They both had a blast! Here's the link.
 Speckled feet!
 Speckled face!
Thankfully everything washed off of their faces and feet and even the clothes! Yay! :)

It's Already May?!

So, I'm behind on our monthly blog post... surprise, surprise! Thanks for being patient :)

Health update on Katy: I've stopped taking the anti-inflammatory medicine because I think I'm developing an ulcer. My doctor recommended stopping that medicine and start taking Omeprezole for the ulcer symptoms. With that comes more intense chest pains. We are continuing to pray for strength and healing, but ultimately that I would trust the Lord with this "thorn in my side."

We traveled a lot during April it feels like. Maybe that's because I hate road trips and it seems like a lot of time in the car with 2 little ones...
We started off the month with some family pictures in the bluebonnets.
You can see more bluebonnet pictures HERE on a previous post.

Daddy went out of town for a conference and Mams came to stay with us. We tried out liquid sidewalk chalk to leave a picture on the driveway for Daddy. See more pictures HERE.

At the end of April, I had my last Camp LIFE meeting for my trip to Zambia this summer. I am getting so excited and I'm fighting to urge to start packing right now!! 6 more weeks!! This is what I had waiting for me upon the return of my day trip to Dallas.

I'll try to post some videos from April soon!
