March has flown by for the Mitchells! This has been a busy time for us since we traveled almost every weekend this month. The older my boys get the more I realize they do not enjoy getting in the car for a long trip.
Health update on Katy-
This month I checked back in with my doctor after getting clear results from my stress test, EKGs and sonogram on my heart. She has me taking a prescription strength advil (that I'm taking with food :)) to try to target inflammation around my rib cage and sternum. I've also started some stretches to see if that is effective.
About a week in with the meds, she had me wear a heart monitor for 24 hours. I had multiple chest pains while wearing it and documented it in my journal. All of those results came back clear with no proof of heart arrhythmia (chest pains can sometimes be a side effect of that). She suggested a referral to a cardiologist to make sure they hadn't missed anything. I told her I wanted to finish this 6 week treatment of meds and stretches before I go to another doctor (who will probably want more tests = more money). And surely after all the tests they've done on my heart with no bad results this can't be a heart issue.
I have an incredibly supportive husband and encouraging family and friends through all of this. Thank you for your prayers and checking in on me.
Now, onto happier things! :) Here are a few pictures from our busy March!
Arts and crafts time got a little messy... he was trying to put the pen on his ear while the cap was off!
Happy boy!

The boys loving their chairs!
For my family's Easter gathering time we spent the weekend at Pine Cove's Palm Sunday Conference. It was so much fun and a little weird being an "adult" there! I also loved watching my kids get to be Cove Kids and participate in all the activities.
Mams and Pops helped Luke hold a lizard
Luke loved watching the horses and talking to them. His patience ran out when it came to waiting his turn to ride :) But he did love the lassos they had.
They had an Easter Egg hunt for the little ones before dinner and then a glow in the dark hunt at night for the bigger kids.
Parker and his buddy Jace.
I'll try to post some March videos in another post soon!
